New Years Greeting And Ministry Update

This past year has been one of the busiest and most productive of our lives (more than fifty years in the Lord’s service).

Dear Family and Friends,

Sandra and I wish you, your household, and sphere of influence a blessed new Year!

This past year has been one of the busiest and most productive of our lives (more than fifty years in the Lord’s service). The Lord has blessed us with many new opportunities to serve His Kingdom and His Church worldwide. One of the most strategic new developments is the growing friendship and ministry partnership with Don Atkin, a senior apostolic father from Charlotte, North Carolina. The Lord has used Don greatly to introduce our ministry and message to many ministers in the USA and to open strategic doors to share the essentials of apostolic Christianity with them. Through these leaders we have been able to impact entire fellowships or networks of local churches here in the States with the Gospel of the Kingdom and apostolic foundations.

In addition to numerous seminars, conferences and ministry opportunities in the States, Sandra and I also ministered several times in South Africa, where there is a fresh move of the Spirit to restore the foundations of the faith and truly reform the Lord’s Church. On our last mission in June and July, we also celebrated fifty years of marriage, spending a memorable week at Victoria Falls (one of the seven natural wonders of the world-it was spectacular) in Zimbabwe. And as we enter this New Year, we are greatly encouraged that many, many apostolic fathers and church leaders throughout the Continent of Africa are expressing a deep desire to connect governmentally with one another to work together to restore the fellowship of the apostles, the foundation of the early Church, as well as a deep longing to be mentored in the message of the Kingdom and to develop practical strategies for a true reformation!

The biggest news in our ministry is that in January of 2007 several senior brothers and I will launch the Apostles Theological Seminary (online), part of a larger leadership training strategy to raise a radical new generation of global leaders for the 21st century Church. ATS is the culmination of more than fifteen years of diligent labor in the Spirit and the Word, not only by some of my brothers and me, but also by those who have preceded us (like my father in the Lord, Brother Ern Baxter). While our web site is not fully completed and there are a number of elements still under construction (like a dynamic home page for hosting ???online??? apostolic and prophetic forums, summits, and conferences), we continue to make progress, adjusting, upgrading and improving the site. Please visit http://www.atsvirtual.org or http://www.apostlestheologicalseminary.org and check out what we are offering! We would like to provide strategic theological and ministerial training to help you prepare yourself for the next level of leadership or help you train your ministers for the work.

Finally, on Advent Sunday, two weeks before Christmas, I preached for Archbishop Dale Howard at the Chapel in Jacksonville, Florida. His building is a beautiful new building right downtown Jacksonville on the St. John’s River. Bishop Howard specifically asked me to minister on the theme, “Joy To The World; The Savior Reigns.” The following Sunday, I proclaimed basically the same message for Joshua Kouri (my youngest son) at Frontline Church in OKC on Christmas Eve. There was a very special anointing upon the message and such an enthusiastic response from Bishop Howard and his people, and from Josh and the folks at Frontline, that I have taken the liberty of attaching the notes for the message for your encouragement and meditation at this special Holiday Season!

With love and best wishes for the coming New Year,
George Kouri
